　　Right：刚到语言学院就上课了。

　　“就”and“刚”go together to emphasize that the two actions“到”and“上课”happened in quick succession.“以后”refers to any tine after a particular point.It makes the sentence incoherent and nust be deleted.

　　Example

　　Wrong：他们刚是北京的大学生。

　　Right：他们刚成为北京的大学生。

　　The adverb “刚”stresses that a state or an action comes into being just before the present time.It is used to modify verbs,with the exception of verb“是”which expresses judgement.One should replace “是”with“成为”.
